Lighting - Jess

In todays lesson, we looked at 3 point lighting which includes a key light, a backlight and a fill light.
key lighting is used to show the character directly. the backlight shine from behind to seperate the character from the background. fill lighting is used to cast shadows on the subject and shine from a different angle to the key lighting.
I think 3 point lighting wouldnt be necesarry in our film because our character is moving most of the time and the lighting which we will use - such as lamps and the lights in the location will be enough. however we need to use a flashlight at the end of our film when there is a powercut and the only source of light is the characters mobile phone screen.
