Strengths:
We kept to the 180 degree angle, the continuity was good, the shots didn't jump and ran pretty smoothly.
Weaknesses:
our shots were well frames, however the first shot of our scene got cut out. it does jump a little bit but not enough to confuse the audience.
mels comments:
ReplyDeletewe shot a scene where the actor went up the stairs, and the shot was a close up, tracking shot of the actors feet. the next shot was then a close up of the actors hand. However the actor hand was stationary, this means that the audience would be confused as they did not see the actor stop in the last scene for their hand to also stop. Also we did not include a match on action shot, to link between the 2 scenes as we kept on filming from the bottom of the stairs, the character going up, however we then would shoot another shot and the character would be at the button of the stairs again. The first shot is not compositionally correct as the characters is a floating head, a mid shot would have been more efficient as it would show more of the surrounding and the audience would have more of an idea about what's happening in the scene. High angles shots could have been used more so that the audience have more of a point of view on the characters surroundings.
